Have you thought about using different background
colors for different scenes? I just realized now
that there were two scenes running simultaneously,
as weird as that sounds.
Also, how is it that mask boy’s head works? I
thought he was wearing like a hat and not a helmet
but then now there are moon-eyes.
I have been trying to do the background thing a
little, but I should do it more. It’s kind of
difficult when I’m trying to only use only
three main colors. Using color is something I need
to get better with in general.
And yeah, for some reason I thought it clear, but
everything that doesn’t have Blue Mask Boy is
a flashback I guess. It will likely be that way for
the majority of the comic, the stuff in the present
is very close to the end of the story,
chronologically.
I hadn’t thought it out when I designed him,
but later on I decided that they were in fact
helmets. I still haven’t thought out what they
are for fully, but what I know for sure is who wears
them and who doesn’t, and for now that’s
all I need to know.
Ah yeah, I see. What I meant is comic background,
though. Perhaps you find that sort of thing cheesy,
but it’s an effective method all the same (you
know, flashbacks being black around the panels,
current being white or what have you. But going by
Mask Boy’s color isn’t too difficult
either, now that I’m aware I’ll
definitely make the error less frequently if at all.

Loving the Gay Cat and That Robot cameos. Great work!
