Expect another month of sprite comics on Nice Guy!

No I’m just kidding that would be horrible.  This is a setup for a new series I’m working on called ‘Joe Stapler’. The rest of the comic isn’t based in a video game so you don’t have to worry about seeing another Nice Guy Comic this… visually unpleasing.

I have to give credit where it’s due though. My good friend Zachary Hinchliffe drew these two lovely sprites for Nice Guy. I’ve been pumping him on the links side-bar for quite some time now but if you haven’t paid his blog a visit maybe you should. Also today’s comic was inspired by a game I’ve played way too much: Aberoth. Pay that a visit too if you’re into that kinda stuff.

So since this is a sprite comic (the onlyone I’ll ever post) I figured I’d post some of my earliest work. Like all great artists, such as Picasso and da Vinci, I started out my digital art career making sprite comics.
