“Read it somewhere safe.” Lizzie seems to know something about the contents of that letter. How often does she communicate with Sylvia? What do they talk about? Do they get along? Has Sylvia read the Unicorn books?
(Mask Boy wears a rainbow shirt sometimes. Is he Princess Rainbow Boots, too? It’s worth pondering.)
We know that Sylvia and Guy were planning a “trip beyond the mountains” (http://sbboard.com/2012/05/two-views-pt-4/). It’s likely that the cited conversation took place the night before this unfortunate incident, and that Guy never got around to inviting Mask Boy (Lizzie seems to have interrupted the invitation, one of her many screw-ups: http://sbboard.com/2012/08/moving-picture-pt-1/). What might the letter have to do with this? Is it about the trip? If so, Mask Boy is still left in the dark, and the new Guy is about to learn about Sylvia’s plans. Fortunately he dislikes Astrid, as all people should. He will probably stick with Sylvia here. They’ll make a good team even without Mask Boy, but I’m sure Mask Boy will eventually join the mix and we’ll have our old team back.
Let’s return to Lizzie. What is up with her? Sylvia seems to trust her, but why rely on trust when she can deliver the message herself? Are her hands tied? It seems now to have been quite the mistake, because Lizzie is a fuck-up.
Here’s my prediction. Mask Boy will return home to find that his house is made out of poop, among other things (his mom might be dead too). He slips on the poop and falls, dirtying his clothes, and I will assume he cries. End Part I. Begin Part II. We return to the poop scene. Sylvia approaches Mask Boy and criticises him for living in a poop house, but Mask Boy explains the situation to the best of his ability and wins Sylvia’s respect back; and thank God for this, as it would have been little but a shame for Mask Boy to lose the respect he had accumulated in Sylvia’s eyes over the years. They decide to leave immediately, but first Mask Boy takes off his clothes. They have poop on them, after all. Sylvia understands the thought process behind this decision, and later takes off her own clothes as well. They embark on an adventure. Winter creeps around and they begin to feel very cold without any clothes on. They create clothes out of poop and wear them. They have a child and name him Ass. Mask Boy turns blue. The end(?)
